Jennifer Thompson joined the Office of the Federal Coordinator for Alaska Natural Gas Transportation Projects (OFC) as the Director of Communications and Policy Support in August of 2007. She is responsible for maintaining effective liaison and informative communications with Congress, the public, project stakeholders, non-governmental organizations, tribal interests, federal agencies, Alaska state agencies and Canadian agencies through outreach presentations, newsletters, the OFC website, blogs and other relevant medium.

Prior to working at the OFC, Thompson worked in the Office of the Secretary at the Department of the Interior (DOI). While at DOI, she served as Special Assistant to the Senior Advisor for Alaska Affairs as well as international Arctic issues. She joined the DOI from the office of Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY).

Thompson graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in political science.
